Hola, it’s Hello Poppy (aka) Michi your florist!
I’m Michelle – or as everyone calls me, Michi. I have a Master of Architecture from Florida International University, and I’ve also studied Makeup Artistry and Photography. Currently, I work as an Architectural Technical Designer at Gensler.
I was born and raised in Ecuador, but I’ve been in the US for quite a while now. Though my professional life started in architecture, somewhere between floor plans and deadlines, I fell head over heels for flowers – and here I am, making it all happen!
Even with a job I absolutely love, I knew I had to follow my dreams. So, I went back to school and earned my floral certification from IAP Career College in 2025.
I’m so excited to make you happy with a Hello Poppy curated flower arrangement.

So why the name Hello Poppy?
Simply because poppies are my favorite flower (:
